BIO
Before pursuing her formal education, Amy's most valuable learning opportunity came from the ongoing influence of an entrepreneurial environment. Both of Amy's parents made a choice to pursue their own dreams and develop their own businesses after many years of working the 9 to 5. Over the last 20 years, Amy has witnessed first hand the struggles and successes self employment brings. Amy understands the value of hard work, importance of integrity and the ability to think outside the box to get the job done. Amy is passionate about helping her clients and you will see that when you work with her. Year after year Amy's business grows due in part to referrals from happy and loyal clients. Seventy six percent of Amy's business in 2011 came directly from past clients and their referrals...incredible! There is no greater honour.
As a graduate of Queen's University, Amy earned her honours degree in Urban and Economic Geography. Amy continued her education at McMaster University where she completed several Accounting courses and later classes in the Interior Design program at Sheridan College. With previous experience working in the accounting field as well as Amy's personal successes assisting her clients find homes to buy, invest in, or sell, Amy Gilmore continues to earn the respect of her clients as she works closely with them to complete their transactions from beginning to end.
Amy's client base resides and invests between Burlington and Toronto so Amy has chosen to remain affiliated with 3 real estate boards (TREB, OMDREB, RAHB) to service her client base across these areas. Keeping active in these diverse markets enables Amy to better follow trends of housing starts, condo assignment popularity, buyer mentality and market speed.
